This is the first in an ecosystem of apps that enable a handful of admins to setup and manage events that are aimed towards the data community in a large organisation. Through this app, the admins can set up events, add scoring categories, create and reorder projects, and assign judges from the personnel directory.
The data flows through into several other apps that come into play throughout the event organisation journey. For example, the admin portal allows the setup of questions that registrants have to fill out when signing up for an event. This allows the admins to gather important information, including skillsets, locations, and pizza orders! Admins have full control over questions - the app has an extensive UI for managing this - but a template question set can be used for expediency.
The admin portal allows users to open and close different stages of each event, such as registration, sign in, and voting, and supports multiple events to run concurrently.
